Man!! A beautiful car! I'm so partial anyway to older Chev sedans. Wow!
Am retired now and considering getting back into rodding with a streetrod that's a driver. Was a drag racer in my early years and stopped to pursue other things (professional bronc rider).
I don't have so much of a workshop now so am thinking of buying an older built rod that is fine mechanically and sound body but maybe needs new paint and/or interior, so I can drive it while I'm updating it with my own personal touches. I currently have my eye on a 2 dr '39 sedan and a 4 dr sedan '41....that seem to fit the description.
I'm making up my own checklist, as to WHAT I SHOULD LOOK FOR in an older rod such as I mentioned, but would welcome any feedback you guys might be able to suggest in that regard too.
Thanks so much,
Hillco
PS. we live in south central Texas so ...year-round crusing!

THANKS for the comments!. I have been a motorhead all my life and to have a car like this is a living dream.
I worked very hard to get what I have and I love every time I open my garage door and see my car! It's like Christmas everytime!!!
