My husband and I built this car ourselves in nine months time using all brand new parts short of the original steel body. The only work farmed out was powdercoat, chrome, and the graphics. We built the fully welded frame and roll cage to fit the body, and then commenced to build the rest of the car. It started out to be a weekend cruiser, typical small block Chevy daily driver kind of deal, but as things went on, we decided to spice it up “just a little bit” as we went. Well, the “little bit” soon turned out to be big block and “chrome this, “chrome that”, “powdercoat this and that”, “polished” just about everything that could be, etc. We couldn’t find anyone to do the interior without having a six month wait, so we bought a sewing machine and ended up doing that ourselves too.
