About my Savoy

This is a four door with longer two door front doors used. The rears are shortened and still open, giving the car a look of a two door. The top is chopped 3 inches. The windshield and cowl are all recessed, with the windshield leaned back to meet the new roof line.I built a new cowl to hide the wipers. The rear of the car is shortened and all fenders are radiused and flared.A 68 charger gas cap is placed in the center of the trunk lid.The front bumper is flipped upside down and trimmed. The front clip and rear end is a 71 chry, newyorker with a 440.Rear window is from a 37 plymouth.I am hoping to have it driving by august,08.

Great looking project !! Keep up the good work. Do you have any of the body mouldings from the car or donor car? A friend is restoring a '55 Savoy 2dr. sedan. He's looking for a couple of pieces, but I'm not sure which ones.

Hey this car is going to look way kool! I can see some lines that remind me of the new Chrysler 300s. Keep posting new pictures.
