About my Tudor

The body was imported from Albuquerque New Mexico back in 1985. I chopped it 4" and it rests on an Aussie frame with model 'A' front cross member; '32 'K' member and tubular rear cross member.
'53 Flathead has early Aussie Waggott finned heads adapted to the late block; US Thickstun twin hi-rise manifold running two 97's; mild cam; adjustable lifters; balanced and is just .020 overbore from standard and still runs the stock style 4 ring pistons. Motor was first built in 1989 - still purring.
Transmission is Toyota 5 speed manual; hydraulic clutch. Brakes are '69 Falcon front discs and calipers and '72 Falcon finned drums rear. Datsun master cylinder with remote reservoir and level indicator on dash.
Transverse front spring with reversed eyes; Super bell tube axle and 4 bar system. Early Ford steering column made into collapsible unit and a Datsun steering box.
Rear end is '50 Ford of 3.9:1 ratio mounted on semi elliptic springs.
I did the paint job and flames along with the body mods and upholstery (which is pretty basic) I installed a '50 Ford dash and steering wheel but replaced the outer ring with a late Falcon unit for a smaller diameter, still keeping the '50 model centre and horn ring.
